This solution was already saved hours of developer time across three independent projects, by providing comprehensive user security infrastructure.
The system is implemented as a 100% pure java J2EE servlet application, and makes use of Oracle BC4J, data object caching system. The front-end manager is very fast in use, and runs on both Windows and Linux platforms.
A COM DLL was created to provide rights checking services to Windows COM enabled applications.
